Accessibility scan · free · WCAG 2.1 AA
Since June 2025 the European Accessibility Act requires many businesses selling online in the EU to meet WCAG 2.1 AA. Test your site in a real browser in about a minute and see every issue in plain language.
The standard
EU law since 28 June 2025. Many products and services sold to consumers — including e-commerce, banking, transport and e-books — must be accessible, websites and apps included.
The European standard the Act relies on. For websites, its chapter 9 is WCAG 2.1 level AA, clause for clause.
The W3C's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines: 50 testable success criteria at levels A and AA. This is what our scan tests against.
Automated tests catch many issues but cannot confirm full conformance on their own. Every report says exactly what was tested, and lists what still needs a human check.

One-time
Every issue mapped to WCAG 2.1 AA and EN 301 549, the exact elements affected, the fix for each, a manual checklist, and a PDF you can keep as evidence of testing.
Many businesses selling to consumers in the EU do, especially webshops and online services. Micro-enterprises providing services (fewer than 10 employees and no more than €2 million turnover) are exempt. Whether it applies to you is a legal question, and this scan is not legal advice, but the standard it tests against is the one the Act uses.
No tool can do that on its own. Automated testing reliably finds a large share of common barriers — contrast, missing labels, alt text, broken ARIA — but some criteria need a person, such as whether alt text makes sense. The report lists every automated failure with the fix, flags what needs a human check, and includes a short manual checklist.
Yes. The scan, your accessibility score, how many tests passed and the first issues in full are free. The Accessibility Report unlocks every issue with the exact elements, the fix and a PDF, for a one-time price.
It opens your homepage and up to two key pages in a real browser, lets them load as a visitor would see them, and runs axe-core — the open-source engine also used by Google Lighthouse — limited to the WCAG 2.1 A and AA rules. Nothing is submitted or changed.
Not from this page: a scan started here runs only the accessibility tests. For the security, SEO, privacy, webshop and company scores as well, start from the homepage, where one free scan runs every check.
